Winemaker Julie Mortlock has worked with De Bortoli for 25+ years at the company's Riverina base. A new range, she says these DB Winemaker Selection wines are, "Go-to wines perfect for unwinding at the end of the day."
Fresh and inviting aromas of green melons, gooseberry, pineapple and passionfruit. A good start. Some phenolics are evident but the fruit thins out particularly in the mid-palate. Crisp green apple like acid clings on to the finish.
A decent go for eleven bucks.
