This comes across all polished and nipped and tucked in the right places, but dare I say, it looks very commercial. There's no doubting its varietal presence, but the clean lines don't offer any edge or X factor to wow me.
Char and smoke aromas to start. Soft spices and delicate fruit through the mouth. The spice lingers long enough to leave something to ponder. Good drinking.
Drink now to five years.
