Pizzini Barbera 2016

This is tense and tightly wound early. Keep swirling and things settle beautifully. A good drink, no two ways about it.

Handfuls of cherries and plum fruit. A kick of earth, what appears to be some twigs but then the spices roll in. It's hard to miss the acid crunch too - red apple like. Smooth through the mouth as you'd expect, I keep coming back to that generous fruit. Soft tannins do their thing to put you further at ease.

Drink now to five years.
