Gartelmann's flagship red. This 2015 Shiraz from Orange is a well-crafted number. A lovely wine all up.
Matured in new and old French and American oak for 18 months.
Some fruit sweetness apparent early, the hum of spice just ticks away. Medium bodied, pretty red flower aromas entice early before licks of dried raspberry and red berries - lovely fruit. It finishes dry with well-balanced acidity. I could drink a few glasses easy.
Drink now to ten years.
