Take a whiff talking bright violets, red flowers, plums and blackberries. Dig deeper for sarsparilla and licorice too. Very much fruit forward, it saw old oak for six months. Fine spices and puffs of earth all chip in building detail and layers of interest. Super soft tannins clutch to a long a persistent finish - something that sneaks up and just lingers delightfully. A great food wine hands down. Just pour large and happiness will follow.
