From fruit perched 720 to 820 metres above comes this good Cabernet.
Spending 15 months in oak, wood spices are a strong feature through the fruit. Some green herb and leafy aromas are prominent. Not an overly deep nor concentrated wine, some pretty aromas of purple berries and fruit plus touches of lilly pilly keep the interest levels up there. Firmish acidity, similar to underripe apples, to close. More time the key perhaps?
Drink 2020 to eight years.
