Quite a level headed type of fellow. Some personality lies within, but on the whole, this is a sure and steady bet for a good Chardonnay.
Numerous layers of interest can be peeled back with every sniff and taste. Think nougat, grapefruit, white stone fruit, touches of vanilla and fine wood spices. A creamy drive through the mid-palate run to a butterscotch finish. I get the sense it sits midline between wanting to be either leaner or more concentrated but yet to make up its mind. It's an enjoyable wine no less.
Drink now to eight years.
