Long gone are the days where Nebbiolo was best approached years and years after bottling. More and more "drink now" styles are gracing the shelves and this drop from Pizzini is a beauty.
Pretty aromas of lavender, violets and dried red flowers pace the way for an easy drinking drop set to match a range of foods well. The fruit and acid are neatly balanced. Twigs, dried herbs and earthiness add savoury appeal alongside red berry and plummy fruit. Long and flavoursome captured by a lasso of tension, powdery tannins sit softly and linger beautifully. Pizza and pasta are all the rage with glasses of this.
Drink now to five years.
