This is the third Gundog Shiraz vintage from the Hilltops region. It's a great drink to knuckle down with.
It saw 12 months in French oak - 25% of which was new. Abundant dark and berry fruit plus plummy goodness, the generosity is clear. Ribbons of spice run long entwined between dried red flowers and touches of meatiness. A dash of clove comes later with more time in the glass. An easy drinking wine. Steak night done well.
Drink now to six years.
