Things kick off well. Aromas of pine-lime splice and whiffs of guava.
Dry, there's some width from the texture offered but the fruit takes and dive and falls flat. Lime pith feels come late, but in all, it doesn't exude the freshness and vitality you'd expect in a fresh Riesling. Spend the extra $12 and you'll see what an excellent Riesling producer Robert Stein is.
