Boireann Winery Shiraz Viognier 2016

The last vintage with Peter Stark at the helm, and damn, he's gone out with a bang.

A couple of years on since release, this wine is showing some exquisite form.

Violets and blueberries send the senses wild. Dangerously smooth, blue fruits rise up and shine like a beacon. Superfine black pepper is dusted across the mouth with a subtle earthiness and kicks of black tilled soil. The Granite Belt minerality so prominent in the region plays a backseat role. Gorgeous and then some.

Drink to ten years+
