This ticks along with any great fanfare. You'd like a little spark at this price point but it's all a little ho hum for me.
Some tension fuses the red cherry and raspberry fruit, acid and spice together. Earthy and undergrowth, dark plums and fine tannins are the key talking points too. A dab of fruit sweetness touches down and sticks. There's a good feel through the mouth but I'm waiting for that wow factor which seemingly isn't coming. It goes ok.
Drink to five years.
