Quite light in appearance, here's a savoury Pinot from the Yarra Valley.
Scents of smoke straight out of the bottle but that blew away. It's sticksy and woody, perhaps bunchy is the better term. And that would fit perfectly as 30% whole bunches were used. Buckets of undergrowth and tilled earth are met with dried leaves and mushroom compost. Dry with dried herbs to close, it's medium body and long spicy finish will appeal to a wide audience.
Drink to five years.
