A great drink to rip into right now to embrace the freshness. It's like a Cherry Ripe in a glass. Rich red berries and dark cherries muse with dark chocolate. Medium bodied, lashings of red plums and soft peppery spices sprinkled atop add further pleasure and linger beautifully. It saw 8 months in second use French oak, and as with the Coonawarra Series tradition, now to the medium term is when it will shine best. A big thumbs up from me - particularly when you find it on special for around $18!
