The second release of this Fiano, I'd be curious to watch this wine evolve in coming years given the young age of the vines.
Lemons and old-school lemonade, cut green herbs and chalky feels deliver an interesting make up. There is a firmness about the texture, something that caught me a little off-guard. That tension doesn't seem to let up leaving the mouth with a chalky feel. The late appearance of what I liken to tonic and apple sours was a neat twist. Lemon juice swings back around to close things out but that textural grip remains committed to seeing things out. It goes ok.
Drink now to three years.
