Lange Estate makes its debut on the Qwine tasting bench. From WA's Frankland River, this is a generous Chardonnay.
French oak certainly makes its presence felt early on. Vanilla and custard with soft ginger nuances, freshly squeezed lemons and lemonade are a feature in the mouth. There is a good balance of fruit and acid with white-fleshed nectarines slowly rolling on. It's one of those wines that just ticks away leaving you with that smirk of satisfaction. I'd easily go another glass or two.
Drink to five years.
