One of the fabulous traits of Margaret River Cabernet is the bay leaf characteristic it delivers. There is a basket load of it here in this savoury driven wine from Credaro.
Sitting alongside dried Mediterranean herbs, black fruits slowly gather some momentum to reveal themselves. Once that shyness is put to rest, blue fruits and dark chocolate rise up and dusty tannins coat the mouth softly. It's a fabulous wine and will only continue to get better with more bottle age.
