There's something about Champagne that just makes you feel a little bit fancy. This Pommery impressed deluxe. A blend of forty crus, it sees 36 months in bottle before release.
A fine bead greets the eye. Wonderful complexity through the mouth hooks you in. Hazelnuts, cashews and brioche speak my language along with a sourdough complexity. Not overly dense, the fruit is brightened by citrus highlights. A long and persistent finish beams and is led by toast and a lemony tang. A fabulous and indulgent Champagne.
