A Blanc de Blanc calling for Aperitivo hour. Good gear this from the Granite Belt's Ridgemill Estate.
A welcome opening of lemons and white flowers, some honeyed tones roll over the top. Some pleasing biscuity and wafer complexity and interest pulls you closer, it's the type of fizz that you need after a long day shopping or out on the boat, once splashed in the glass it offers that "ah" reaction. Some nuttiness tucks in behind the citrus drive leading to a moreish finish. Nicely done. I might need to buy a boat. Or go shopping.
Drink to five years.
