A really enjoyable Yarra Valley Chardonnay from Long Gully Estate. I'd happily have a glass, and maybe I just did that.
Good fruit is highlighted by white fleshed stonefruit. A dash of lemon juice sneaks in but the soft creamy presence and roasted cashew nuttiness through the mid-palate have me sitting up. Grapefruit acidity on a moreish finish seals the deal. A smart wine.
Drink to five years.
