Blue fruits, a lick of red cherries and red plums, an attractive scent of rhubarb and dried red flowers chime in too. The latter offering a beautiful mouth perfume. Some savoury delights in the form of black earth and char show their hand, but it's the soft mouthfeel and plump tannins that offer that comfort factor. I'd happily sip on this while seated at a long table surrounded by friends that warm your soul.
