Wow. Just wow. $45 for this is madness. Sheer delight and then some. There are Chardonnays out there $20+ more expensive but aren't in the same class. This is all precision and focus rolled into a neat package.
Grapefruit, white-fleshed nectarines and lemon juice are the heroes. They drive a long deal and draw you in. It's dancy and elegant, joyous even. I just want more. Soft vanilla cream and a shimmer of Jersey caramel push through late but that persistent and absolutely satisfying finish caps it off perfectly. An excellent wine and then some.
