There is a charm here. A little flint, a little matchstick too. Soft creaminess sways throughout with a neat complexity in the mid-palate to muse over.
Wild fermentation took place in French oak where it cooled its heels for eleven months. Soft white-fleshed nectarine fruit is bordered by lemon juice and subtle nuttiness leading to a long finish. That citrusy tang just lingers with an acidity that is just a tad firm for now. All up, it's moreish and delicious, a smart Eden Valley Chardonnay.
