A 57/43 blend, it sees 14 months in French oak (30% new).
Handfuls of plummy fruit are joined by dark cherries and blackberries with a lick of blue fruit. A little leafy and stemmy on opening, licorice, black olives and dried Mediterranean herbs build momentum. Dark chocolate makes a move with time in the glass and it is evident that the Shiraz component brings the spice that clings to a persistent finish. Nicely done, give it a good decant to drink now or hold.
