Gundog Estate Rosé 2017

I don't go to Canberra much. Not many people do from what I gather. I'm pretty sure in the local dialect that Gundog means 'doesn't do much wrong'. See for yourself. Super slurpable Rosé.

I've never been one to overly enjoy Cabernet in a Rosé but it works here blended alongside some Shiraz. Take a whiff and I pick up drunken cherries, lilly pilly, and a faint tinge of black currant. There's a leafy aroma in there too along with what seems snow pea. It looks great in the glass mind you. Not too dissimilar to red cordial - the type when the concentrate is a little heavy handed.

Dark cherry and red berries roll through the mouth with ease. It's juicy and evenly poised. Acid is cut and cleansing with a whip crack of spice at the death.  Great stuff.

Drink now.
