Delinquente Wine Co Weeping Juan Pet Nat 2017

There's a theory about Pet Nat that suggests it doesn't last in retail land beyond Christmas. I'll be keenly testing that theory in the months to come, but it seems a fair summary of how quickly this style is snapped up in the warmer months.

Vermentino (same base as the Screaming Betty) is the go here with 10% Montepulciano splashed in for good measure.

Lots of red fruits play the lead role here. Red currants, plums, under ripe strawberry and watermelon too. The finish is dry and leaves you fulfilled with a lick of Campari.

A most enjoyable and refreshing drink.
