Seinfeld's George Costanza was once a hand model. I reckon Golden Grove's winemaker Ray Costanzo could be a hand model too when he's not mountain biking around the Granite Belt bush tracks. His wines are always soft and supple - much like his hands. Barely a rough edge to be seen (hands and wine!). Here's a super Rosé for bargain hunters with a softly softly approach.
Shiraz and Sangiovese fruit can be found here (70/30) along with some partial barrel fermentation. Ray has found a winning formula with this technique in recent times.
Red fruits shine - red berries and strawberries adding polish too. The fruit is juicy before peeling back to some delicate textural feels that walk hand in hand with fine peppery spice. There's almost what seems a creaminess riding straight through the middle too. That texture is the winner and keeps calling me back. A ripping deal for 16 bucks.
