Here's a bit of comfort for those seeking a cuddle on the inside when things aren't going right on your preferred reality TV program. Great drinking. Top value too.
Sourced from vines 10-50 years old, wild fermented spending15 months in oak.
Dark chocolate, coffeed oak, there's a touch of fruit sweetness evident. Another whiff and cured meat and dense plums step into the fray. Michael Papps has a knack of imparting Asian Five Spice characteristics into his wines, and I like it - it's here again too.
Mouthfilling, black and blue fruits run riot. Dark chocolate chimes in again as do soft spices. It's hard to resist the gravitating pull of the depth offered. A glorious finish with a spice hum cantering along. I could make easy work of this.
Drink now to five years.
