Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir. Quite dense and tight, there are good varietal characters at play.
Dark cherry the hero. You get a sense there is a noose lassoed around the fruit and pulled tight. Dark berries, some plum and bright acidity. A long finish is cradled by cracked pepper clinging on longer than expected. A good Pinot all up.
Drink now to six years.
