Damn this is a fab release of the great Grenache, Shiraz Mourvedre blend. So much interest and so much pleasure are rolled up into a beautiful package.
Shiraz and Grenache heavy (48/47/5), all elements can be seen yet work together seamlessly. Raspberry and red berry fruit from Grenache, jabs of earth and fistfuls of spice. An explosion of deliciousness through the mouth yet each element doesn't overpower the next. Such a generous wine, oak is well handled and I can only go back again and again. Stunning!
A classy release. Good to go now but will reward the patient beyond a decade.
