Raidis Estate The Trip 2014

Raidis' top dog Cabernet Sauvignon but they're all about goats on their label names so it'd be the top goat I guess. Quite simply, it's a great wine too.

A pre-release looksy, I can confirm it hits the market in January 2019.

It's cool, calm and composed moving at ease and without obstruction. Luscious blackberry fruit unfurls flanked by mint, dried herbs and chocolate. A classic Coonawarra Cabernet, bevelled edges and a smooth ride through the mouth deliver nothing but pleasure. Cocoa tannins to close which clutch to a long and persistent finish.

This will continue to grow into its shoes in years to come - no question. One for a special occasion that will not disappoint.
