Coppabella of Tumbarumba The Crest Chardonnay 2017
From the foothills of the Snowy Mountains comes this Single Vineyard Chardonnay perched in one of the coldest viticultural sites in Australia.
Oh, hello! The word fresh leaps to mind immediately. Nougat and vanilla cream, a touch of fine oak ticks away nicely. A glimpse of struck match before fleshy white stone fruit and preserved lemons roll in and take charge. There's a zippy energy to the finish. Lemon sherbet tang more so. A Chardonnay that's alive and looking for like-minded personalities. Great stuff.
Drink now to five years.
