Wine from Austria is something that doesn't come across the bench much at all. A heap of samples from importer CellarHand came knocking recently and this wonderful Rose was in the box.
A delicious wine that zeros in on the pleasure zone, bright red fruits and berries are fresh and crunchy. Dancy acidity skips to a neat beat. Upon opening, there was a whiff of Turkish delight but its the width the mouthfeel delivers which has me lining up for more. A big thumbs up and a handy partner for that sunset and meat board.
