Chalmers Fiano 2017

Fiano released with some bottle age under its belt to emphasis the natural beeswax character of the variety.

I do prefer the fresher examples of Fiano to be honest. That bees wax characteristic is certainly present. It's a little weighty through the mouth too. Scents of dandelions and yellow flowers move to stewed apple and poached pear on the palate. Some almonds can be seen as well as a touch of ginger. A slippery finish to close pulls it back a touch.

Drink not to five years.
