I left this in the glass for a few hours before tasting. All three varieties show their hand and contribute well. Supple Syrah fruit meets leafy and tomato bush Cabernet with some leathery and earthy tones plus powdery tannins from the Nebbiolo. Nowhere near its best now, it softens nicely filling the mouth with generous handfuls of dried herbs, olives and red plums. A long and moreish finish calls for beef dishes and a bowl of fries (mind you, I have fries with everything).
