Many varieties work well on the Granite Belt but I'm yet to be convinced Pinot Noir is one of them. That said, I'll keep trying and looking at them with an open mind.
This is dense and weighty. Scents of char and pepper with the typical minerally feel synonymous with wines from the region seeping through its pores. Firm acid to close. It's ok but not my preferred Pinot style.
Drink now to five years.
