A gorgeous Chardonnay from the hands of Geraldine McFaul. With arms flung open, this is a welcoming and embracing wine with uber cool swagger.
Medium bodied, white-fleshed stonefruit is flanked by raw cashews and almonds with fine ginger and cinnamon spices adding further appeal. Another whiff and struck match raises its hand. A creamy drive evident with flashes of butterscotch. Add drops of grapefruit and lime acidity and this is a Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay that's pretty damn smart. I could have a few glasses, and maybe I just did. Applaud now.
Drink now to six years.
