Funky town Mataro. Whole bunches (84%), wild fermented, nine months in French oak (5% new), not fined or filtered.
Wild scents of tilled earth, blueberry pie, sweet tobacco, soy, oyster sauce plus some concentrated strawberry too. A bit more time in the glass reveals black tea aromas. A purple hue adorns the appearance. The stems from the whole bunch fermentation can be seen with purple and blue fruits washing about with creamy feels. Fine tannins to close with soft spices. There's plenty here to keep the curious ones amused, that's for sure.
Drink now to six years.
