Quite an easy Pinot to kick back with from the Yarra's Balgownie Estate.
The fruit sits on the darker side of the spectrum. Varietal characteristics are in check although there's not all that much depth to speak of. Bright red apple acidity and a whip crack of black pepper spice which then turns and clutches to a long finish. It goes okay.
Drink now to five years.
