There's so many layers of interest to this Roussanne - the best release yet. Not fined or filtered, I pull out aromas of lemonade, ginger, apricot nectar, candied orange, dried white flowers, yellow flowers, stonefruits and faint touches of honey. Phew, take a breath!
There's a salivating concentration of fruit with tension through the mid-palate that tugs at you to keep coming back. Delicate spices skirt the edge and sit long and proud. I can't help but to keep swirling the glass and getting in deep with those aromas.
Funky? Yes. Cloudy? Absolutely? Delicious? Damn straight!
