This release comes from the Hunter Valley's Andevine.
Tense lemon and guava fruit plant themselves on the mid-palate. Firm acidity follows on from touches of brioche and vanilla cream. Oak is balanced well but all the elements just seem a little bitsy for now. A modern Chardonnay that should settle nicely in the years to come.
Drink to eight years.
