A new blend launched for Father's Day. It's a rich and generous wine made for dads too. I'm thinking steaks or even a good ol' meat pie.
Made from a blend of Riverina Durif, Shiraz and Petit Verdot, give it some air and it grows on you. Black and blue fruit loom large. Mouthfilling with baking spices and pepper liberally sprinkled, the fruit surges through and seems relentless in its pursuit for a long finish. Perhaps a touch of warmth the only detractor but this is a large pour with a piece of meat kinda wine.
Drink now to five years.
