Dalrymple's Tasmania Pinot is a blend of four vineyards from Pipers River in the north through to Hobart's Coal Valley. A fragrant and spicy Pinot for your drinking pleasure.
A swirl and a sniff reveal buckets of strawberries, plums, red currants, some cedar and a liberal dash of spice. Exotic spices pulsate through the mouth flanked by dried leaves, twigs and earth tones. The spice seems relentless though but settles with time enabling the fruit to emerge and stand proud. Delicate and silky through the mouth, energetic acidity sizzles. This is a wine which will continue to grow into its shoes nicely.
