Golden Grove Estate Rosé Brosé 2019

Super delish Rosé. A crazy good bargain for $20.

Now there's a disclaimer I've got to throw out there... I was with winemaker Ray Costanzo in the winery when this was blended. That may or may not have improved the final product. Let's stay positive and go with the former...

A blend of Shiraz, Sangiovese and Grenache. A portion saw barrel (50%)vfor added complexity and interest - six barrels in fact. It was a fabulous exercise to look at each separate barrel and the tank component with each bringing its own piece of texture, creaminess, fruit, and acidity to the party.

The final result oozes session factor - springtime as the sun slowly falls from the sky kinda stuff.

Strawberries and red berries, the white bit of the watermelon, the white bit of the strawberry, red apple peel plus a delightful and refreshing crunchy acidity. You'll pour once and end up pouring three times. A fab wine for the money - I keep telling Costanzo it's too cheap. He's not listening - a win for the consumer. The last release sold out in quick time, this will too.

Drink now.
