The fruit is sourced from the Yarra Valley and King Valley delivering a wine that calls for large tables of food and friends who laugh lots. It's a personable type that reaches out with many layers of interest to share. Quite savoury on opening, dried herbs, strawberries, dried red flowers, juicy red cherries with an acid crunch to close. Powdery tannins, synonymous with Nebbiolo, try to peer through but seem a little bashful to take charge. Soft and smooth, it lingers urging for another sip. Great stuff.
Drink now to three years.
