Berry and spice and all things nice. A super Grenache Mataro blend.
Co-fermented, this is all dark and red fruits from the Grenache and earthiness and spice from the Mataro (70/30). The fruit comes from a biodynamic site in the McLaren Vale sub-region of Blewitt Springs.
Pretty aromas captivate early. Dark berry fruit, dusty orange peel, five spice and cloves. Fresh strawberries keep calling out and the sandy earth can be seen via dusty and sandy tannins. A puckering finish awaits, that steak night kinda wine which everyone will enjoy.
Drink to six years.
