The last time I saw this wine was the 2019 release. I'm not sure what happened with the 2020 but this 2021 is not where it's been before and is a bit ho hum.
This spends ten months in French oak, 25% of which was new. The fruit doesn't have the life and lift I've seen previously. Muted, some creaminess from the oak comes through but the stonefruits feel a little cooked. I just can't get enthused about it. Not for me.
