This is probably the most enjoyable Clarence Hill Reserve release I have come across. If you like your McLaren Vale Shiraz large, it is worth a look.
It opens with strong scents of cedar before filling the mouth with dark and dense fruit. Voluptuous, it has great width too. Quite dry, a hint of soy and aniseed slides in with more time in the glass. With a persistent finish, roast beef is the go.
