Rich mulberries and plums rush early yet maintain the Hunter Valley medium-bodied mojo. Dried herbs and charcoal add savoury interest. Cherry vodka sneaks in adding a neat touch. Softly spiced, pan juices flex some meatiness. At six years of age, this is a satisfying drink for steak night or just kicking back by the fire pit. Time has been its friend, that's for sure. I'd happily have a glass or two.
