Red fruits and dark cherries hold the fort. A subtle hint of hibiscus flower. Shaved dark chocolate occupies the flank, but what's most noticeable is the smattering of black pepper that lingers long and resists to let up. A rumble of gravelly tannin moves to a drying and sapping finish. It needs meat or something hearty beside it. I'd have no more than a glass.
